03 - Creating & Managing Trade Offers
Creating & Managing Trade Offers
Trade offers are listings you create in the marketplace. They advertise your intent to buy or sell cryptocurrency at a specific price.
Navigating to My Offers
- Log in to your account.
- In the sidebar, click My Offers.
- You see a table of all your created offers with their current status.
Creating a New Offer
Click Create Offer on the My Offers page (or from the dashboard header). A 4-step wizard guides you through the process.
Note: If your account has a trading restriction, a warning alert appears at the top of the dialog.
Step 1 — Basic Information
Field | Description |
|---|---|
Offer Type | Choose Sell (you sell the asset) or Buy (you want to buy the asset) |
Asset | Select the cryptocurrency to trade (USDT or USD) |
Timer Limits (blue info box):
Setting | Description | Default | Range |
|---|---|---|---|
Payment Time Limit | How long the buyer has to send payment (in minutes) | 15 min | 1–1,440 min |
Release Time Limit | How long the seller has to confirm payment received (in minutes) | 30 min | 1–1,440 min |
Click Next to proceed.
Step 2 — Pricing & Limits
Field | Description |
|---|---|
Currency | The fiat currency for payment (USD, EUR, GBP, HTG, etc.) |
Total Available | The total inventory of the asset you are offering |
Price Per Unit | Your price for one unit of the asset |
Min Amount | The smallest trade amount a trader can request |
Max Amount | The largest trade amount a trader can request |
Market Rate Reference: A blue info box shows the current live market rate for your selected asset/currency pair. Your price is validated against this rate (acceptable range is within 30% of market rate). A green or red indicator shows whether your price is within range.
All fields have real-time validation with a 400ms debounce. Error messages appear inline below each field. The Next button is disabled until all fields are valid.
Click Next to proceed.
Step 3 — Terms & Settings
Field | Description |
|---|---|
Trade Terms | Rules and conditions buyers must agree to before trading (textarea) |
Auto-message | A message automatically sent to the other party when a trade is placed (textarea) |
Max Concurrent Trades | How many trades can be active on this offer at the same time (default: 5) |
Is Public | Whether the offer is visible in the marketplace (checkbox). Uncheck for private offers accessible only via direct link. |
Click Next to proceed.
Step 4 — Payment Methods
Select one or more payment methods by checking the boxes. At least one payment method is required. Available methods are filtered based on your selected currency from Step 2.
Click Create to publish your offer.
Tip: Set a reasonable concurrent trade limit. If you set it to 3, only 3 traders can have active trades on your offer at the same time. This helps you manage your capacity.
Managing Existing Offers
The My Offers page shows a table with:
Column | Description |
|---|---|
Offer ID | Unique identifier |
Type | Buy or Sell badge |
Asset | The cryptocurrency |
Price | Price per unit |
Min–Max Range | Allowed trade amount range |
Available | Remaining inventory |
Traded | Total amount traded so far |
Status | Current offer status |
Visibility | Public or Private |
Created | When the offer was created |
Actions | Dropdown menu with available actions |
Search and Filters
- Search bar — Search by offer ID or asset name
- Status filter — All, Active, Paused, Completed, or Cancelled
- Type filter — All, Buy, or Sell
- Pagination — Choose items per page (10, 25, 50, or 100) and navigate with numbered page buttons
Understanding Offer Statuses
Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
Active | Your offer is live and visible in the marketplace. Traders can place trades on it. |
Paused | Your offer is temporarily hidden from the marketplace. No new trades can be placed. Existing trades continue normally. |
Completed | All of your total available amount has been traded. The offer is no longer active. |
Cancelled | You permanently removed the offer. This cannot be undone. |
Offer Actions
Click the Actions dropdown (three dots) on any offer to access:
Edit Offer
Opens the same 4-step wizard, pre-populated with your current values. Update any fields and click Save.
Note: Some fields may be restricted from editing if you have active trades on the offer. This prevents changes that could affect ongoing transactions.
Pause / Resume
- Pause — Hides the offer from the marketplace immediately. Existing trades continue normally.
- Resume — Makes a paused offer visible in the marketplace again.
Tip: Pausing is useful when you need a break from trading or want to update your offer without receiving new trades.
Share
Copies a shareable marketplace link to your clipboard. When someone opens this link, the marketplace automatically opens the Place Trade dialog for your offer.
Delete
Opens a confirmation dialog. Deleting is permanent and cannot be undone.
Warning: You cannot delete an offer if it has active trades. Complete or cancel all trades first.
Viewing Trades on Your Offers
Each offer row shows:
- Available — How much inventory remains
- Traded — The cumulative amount traded on this offer
To see the full list of trades on a specific offer, navigate to Dashboard > Trades and filter by the offer.
