Reason your card might be cancelled

❗ Why Was My Card Cancelled?

We want everyone to use the platform safely and without problems.

Sometimes, the system may cancel a card to protect all users.

Here are the 2 main reasons this can happen:

1️⃣ 3 Failed Transactions (Insufficient Funds)

If you try to make a payment and there is not enough money on your card, the payment will fail.

If this happens 3 times, the system may automatically cancel your card.

🧒 Simple Example:

Imagine you want to buy a cookie, but you don’t have enough money.

You try again.

You try again.

After 3 times, the store says:

"Please come back when you have enough money."

The same thing happens here.

✅ What You Can Do:

  • Make sure you have enough funds before making a payment.
  • Contact us if your card keeps getting declined.
  • Add money to your card so you can complete the payment successfully.

2️⃣ Suspicious or Fraudulent Activity

Your card may also be cancelled if the system detects activity that looks unusual or dishonest.

This may include:

  • Using a card that does not belong to you
  • Trying to manipulate or trick the system
  • Violating platform rules
  • Any activity that appears fraudulent

🧒 Simple Example:

If someone tries to use money that is not theirs, that is not okay.

To protect everyone, we must cancel the card.

🛡 Why We Do This:

We protect:

  • Our users
  • Our partners
  • Our payment providers
  • The platform

⚠️ Bank Fees for Failed Transactions

When you attempt a payment without enough funds on your card, your bank may charge you a fee.

This is called an "overdraft fee" or "insufficient funds fee."

Some banks charge high fees for this.

For example:

  • Chase may charge more than $24 USD
  • Bank of America may charge more than $24 USD

This means if you attempt 3 payments without enough funds, you could lose more than $70 USD in bank fees alone.

⚠️ These fees are not charged by us. They are charged by your bank.

Good news:

The bank we use charges a very small fee.

Typically, it is less than $1 USD per failed transaction.

However, we strongly recommend:

✅ Always make sure you have enough funds before making a transaction.

This will protect you from high bank fees.
