Sudo Card Policy

These terms (“Protege Global Ecommerce Visa/Mastercard Cardholder Terms”) supplement the General Terms and govern your use of the Protege Global Ecommerce Visa/Mastercard Services.

Relationship to Issuing Bank Terms
Protege Global Ecommerce, Inc. offers several Visa/Mastercard Programs in partnership with multiple Issuing Banks. When you sign up to use the Protege Global Ecommerce Visa/Mastercard Services, Protege Global Ecommerce will present the applicable Issuing Bank Terms for your specific Visa/Mastercard Program. To use these Services, you must agree to the Issuing Bank Terms. You can view the description of your Program and access the applicable Issuing Bank Terms through your account dashboard. In case of any conflict between the Issuing Bank Terms and this Agreement, the Issuing Bank Terms will prevail.

Structure of the Visa/Mastercard Programs
2.1 Program Management
The Issuing Banks provide, and Protege Global Ecommerce manages, the Visa/Mastercard Programs. As the program manager, Protege Global Ecommerce handles activities including processing applications, performing onboarding services, servicing accounts, sending communications, providing disclosures, and offering account information. The Issuing Banks issue the Cards and accounts under their respective terms.

2.2 Approval and Information Requirements
You must not use the Protege Global Ecommerce Visa/Mastercard Services until both Protege Global Ecommerce and the Issuing Bank approve your application. You may be required to provide additional information during this process. Upon approval, you will receive access to your account and can participate in the Program.

2.3 Program Administrator Appointment
You may appoint a Program Administrator to manage the Visa/Mastercard Program on your behalf. The Administrator must comply with this Agreement and the Issuing Bank Terms, and you are responsible for their actions.

Relationship with Cardholders
3.1 Cardholders
The Issuing Bank Terms govern the relationship between you and any Cardholders authorized under your account.

3.2 Inquiries
Protege Global Ecommerce will manage all inquiries from Cardholders regarding the Services, including those related to lost, stolen, or damaged Cards.

3.3 Complaint Handling
Any complaints must be submitted within 3 business days to Protege Global Ecommerce at complaints@pgecom.com.

Card Design and Orders
4.1 Card Designs
You may request specific Card designs for your issued Cards. All designs must be submitted to Protege Global Ecommerce for approval. Unapproved designs will be subject to modification recommendations.

4.2 Card Orders
Cards may be ordered through your dashboard. Protege Global Ecommerce will handle procurement and shipping. Risk of loss passes to you once the Card is shipped.

4.3 Card Ownership and Limitations
The Issuing Bank owns all issued Cards. Protege Global Ecommerce or the Issuing Bank may cancel or repossess Cards as needed.

Activation and Usage Limits
5.1 Activation
You must activate your Card through your dashboard before use. All transactions will be linked to your account.

5.2 Usage Limits
The Issuing Bank will establish restrictions on your account and Cards, which will be communicated upon approval. You may set additional restrictions, and must inform your Cardholders accordingly.

Securing Cards and Data
The Issuing Bank Terms outline your responsibilities for securing Cards and Account Data.

Disputes and Unauthorized Transactions
Procedures for resolving disputes and reporting unauthorized transactions are outlined in the Issuing Bank Terms.

Transaction Authorization
Protege Global Ecommerce or the Issuing Bank may reverse or decline to authorize a transaction if fraud is suspected or if the transaction violates restrictions. Neither is liable for losses arising from declined or reversed transactions.

Default and Termination
9.1 Default
You are in default if you breach any terms, violate the law, or pose a regulatory or financial risk.

9.2 Suspension and Termination
In the event of default, Protege Global Ecommerce may suspend or terminate your account, declare amounts due, or take other necessary actions.

9.3 Reactivation
Reactivation after suspension may require payment of outstanding amounts.

9.4 Right of Setoff
Protege Global Ecommerce may offset amounts you owe against other funds held on your behalf.

9.5 Account Closure
You may close your account by notifying Protege Global Ecommerce.

Data Protection
10.1 Data Rights
You must have all necessary rights and consents to provide Personal Data to Protege Global Ecommerce and the Issuing Bank. Protege Global Ecommerce will notify you in case of any unauthorized data access.

10.2 Data Usage
You may only use Personal Data for internal business purposes and as required to fulfill your obligations.

10.3 Bank Data Usage
Protege Global Ecommerce may process and disclose data as outlined in the Issuing Bank Terms.

Failed Transactions and Card Cancellations
A fee applies for each failed transaction, whether the card is active or inactive. After three consecutive failures, your card will be canceled. The first replacement is free, but subsequent replacements will incur a $5 USD fee.
